The District has various communication systems to reach our families and community during emergent events. The most typical notifications are listed below. It is important that families update their phone and email contact information with the main office in order for the District to contact them directly.
This automated phone and email system will call all district families and staff to notify of delays, cancelations, or other recorded messages from the school. Parents should make sure their primary phone and email addresses are accurate within our Skyward system. This info must be entered by our office staff. School Messenger is the primary source of direct information to families in the event of schedule changes.
"McCleary School District #65" Facebook Page
This public page will act as a secondary communication for schedule changes after School Messenger.
Flash Alert Newswire www.flashalert.net
This website shows schedule changes from across the State. The District communicates to the news media through this media. Families will be able to see school cancelations/delays on major TV and radio stations as a result. Most major networks also post this information online on their websites (e.g. www.komo4.com).
