Instructional Materials CommitteeThe purpose of the Instructional Materials Committee is to:
- Ensure that proper procedures have been followed in the adoption of new curriculum and instructional materials.
- Ensure that new instructional materials are selected in conformance with state guidelines and the District’s learning goals
- Ensure that the requirements of State statutes and District policies have been met
- Provide an orderly process for receiving, considering, and acting on written complaints regarding instructional materials
The Instructional Materials Committee is responsible for implementing Board Policy 2020 Curriculum Development and Adoption of Instructional Materials and its procedures.
