The McCleary Scholarship Fund

The McCleary Scholarship is unique in that all students who have gone through the 8th grade at McCleary School will receive a scholarship when they graduate from high school.  The amount they receive depends on how many years they attended McCleary School as they currently receive $55.00 for each year attended including kindergarten. The scholarship may be used for either college or any type of skilled training or trade school.

We started the scholarship in 1988 and awarded our first scholarships in 1991. The scholarship fund is set up as an endowment, with the interest being awarded each year in the form of scholarships.  It will continue to serve students well into the future.

 Our goal is to encourage students to stay in school and also to gain further training after they graduate from high school.
